1. Introduction
Welcome to Trinkhaus Fine Art. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase of fine art prints and related products from our online shop. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
This online shop is operated by Sumfinidade Unipessoal Lda (ZFM), Rua dos Murças, N.º 15, 2.º Andar, Sala H, 9000-058 Funchal, Portugal. For any questions, please contact us at:

2. Products
We offer limited-edition fine art prints by Nico Trinkhaus. Each artwork is part of a numbered edition and is produced to order — we do not hold pre-made stock.
Two premium materials are available:
- Fine Art Paper — Hahnemühle museum-grade cotton paper with archival pigment inks rated for 100+ years of fade-free display.
- Acrylic TruLife™ — Face-mounted behind TruLife® anti-reflective acrylic with an aluminium backing. Gallery-ready, no framing needed.
While we strive for accuracy, colours and textures may appear differently depending on your device and monitor settings.
Sizes listed on product pages refer to the overall material size. Depending on the format, a small border may be present, meaning the image area can be slightly smaller than the stated dimensions. Exact specifications are noted on each product page.
For full details on our materials, see Limited Editions.
3. Edition Policy
Each artwork is limited to 200 numbered Fine Art Prints plus 20 Artist Proofs (AP).
- The edition of 200 applies to all Fine Art Print sizes (70 cm and above), regardless of whether you choose Fine Art Paper or Acrylic TruLife™.
- Edition numbers are assigned sequentially in order of purchase (e.g., “12 of 200”). If you would like a specific number, contact us — if it is available, it is yours.
- Once all 200 numbered prints of an artwork are sold, the edition is permanently closed — no reprints, no exceptions.
- The 20 Artist Proofs are reserved for exhibitions, collaborations, and the artist’s personal collection. They are not sold through the shop.
For our full edition philosophy, see Limited Editions.
4. Certificate of Authenticity
Every Fine Art Print ships with a digital Certificate of Authenticity issued by the artist. The certificate includes:
- Edition number (e.g., “42 of 200”)
- Artwork title and collection
- Material and dimensions
- Date of acquisition
- The artist’s digital signature
Each certificate is linked to the Collector’s Registry — a permanent provenance record that travels with the artwork if resold or gifted.
